LETTERS: African leaders can help end Mediterranean drownings

The EU does not owe anything to drowning African natives running away from their mismanaged continent. The lucky few that survive the furious waves may end in up Europe scrambling for leftovers and cleaning streets alright. Yet often times even that will offer a far superior life than the one they left behind!

RE: "The Mediterranean drownings: the height of human callousness” (The New Times, September 7).

The EU does not owe anything to drowning African natives running away from their mismanaged continent.
