LETTERS: Save accident victims first

Editor,

RE: "Accident victims: Why does society act indifferent?” (The New Times, September 2).

Finally, it’s good this issue has come out. Everyone knows that traffic victims can’t be touched before Police arrive, and if you volunteer to take a victim to hospital, you end at Police and make statement. This is what everyone believes.

Now that hospitals and Police have clarified, I hope people will be more helpful at accident scenes.

Is it possible for The New Times to partner with Police or Red Cross and run a sensitisation campaign on what to do at accident scenes?
