The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) has announced new fuel prices for September and October.

The pump prices for September and October for petrol and diesel in Kigali are not supposed to exceed Rwf888 and Rwf864 per litre respectively, effective September 3, according to a statement from RURA released Friday.

Until yesterday, the pump price for both petrol and diesel was at Rwf948.

The prices are expected to be reviewed at the end of October putting into account international price changes, the statement said.
