Dear Editor,
I read and heard about Rwandans protesting against German’s arrest of one of their heros— Rose Kabuye, the Director of State Protocol.

I would like to applaud you (Rwandans) for demonstrating peacefully, even with the heavy downpour.

Honestly, it is very embarrassing that a country like Germany arrests a diplomat without informing her home country.

I think it is your right to protest against the arrest, which seems to be politically motivated, since Kabuye had traveled to their country before and there were no signs of contradiction.

It is crystal clear, that Kabuye is innocent because I believe that no one would take themselves to the lion’s mouth knowing that it will tear their flesh to pieces.

I certainly hope that this time the truth shall prevail. Don’t keep your hands crossed but keep your heads high.

Good luck as you demonstrate.
