Senyange, Lomami and Bayama sign for Rayon Sports

Rayon Sports Football Club have completed the signing of three players including left-back Ivan Senyange as well as forwards Frank Lomami and Nova Bayama.

Senyange and Lomami signed initial two year-deal contracts from Gicumbi and Musanze FC, respectively, while Bayama signed one-year deal from Mukura Victory Sports.

"It’s true we have signed the three players as we prepare for what promises to be a tough season that will include competing in the CAF Confederation Cup,” Rayon Sports spokesperson Olivier Gakwaya said in a telephone interview on Thursday.

He noted that the trio and the other new signings fit very well into Rayon Sports’ structure and future plans.

"They are all experienced players and we hope they can add more strength to the squad as we chase for trophies next season.”

The Peace Cup champions have also signed Shassir Niyonkuru from Burundian giants Vital’O, Zappy Ishimwe from Sunrise FC and Rwanda international center-back Abdul Rwatubyaye from archrivals APR on a free transfer.

Rayon has promoted four players from their youth team, they include; Willy Hamza Cyimana, Idrissa Sengimana, Hassan Hakizimana and Eric Muhanuka.

Meanwhile, Rayon fans were handed a major boost last week afte Djuma Masudi, who led the club to the Peace Cup success, signed a three-year deal until 2020 – he will be assisted by Maurice ‘Maso’ Nshimiyimana.
