Terugu Royals take on Kigali Cricket Club in the first semi-final of the 2016 Computer Point Twenty20 tournament on Sunday at Kicukiro cricket ground.

It is the third consecutive semi-final meeting between the two sides both in Naidu T20 and Computer Point T20.

Telugu have been very outstanding in this year’s competition, registering ginning their first win over defending champions Challengers CC. They also defeated Impala Titanus but lost to Indorwa cricket club thus qualifying for the semi-finals.

Their counterparts, Kigali cricket club won all their groups and advanced as Group A winners. They beat Kerala Hunters, Kigali Warriors and Right Guards CC.

"We are not carried away by our good performances at the group stage; our sole objective is winning the trophy and we are ready for any team,” said Telugu Royals team captain, Jhothibasu Ravuda.

The second semi-final will be played next weekend between reigning champions, Challengers CC and Rwanda Cricket Association development team.
