Gospel artistes thrill fans

Over the weekend, gospel music lovers were treated to an evening of inspiration and spiritual performances at the Bethsaida Holy Church during the second edition of -- After School Gospel Turn Up.

Over the weekend, gospel music lovers were treated to an evening of inspiration and spiritual performances at the Bethsaida Holy Church during the second edition of—After School Gospel Turn Up.

The evening saw fans get entertained by Olivier Roy, Gaby Kamanzi, Diana Kamugisha, Kingdom Ministries, Reggy Banks, Serge Iyamuremye, Roi G and Clapton, among other gospel music stars.

"This event targets young people, especially the youth from different schools and churches with an aim of uniting them and celebrating Jesus in thanks giving for the whole term/trimester. We are therefore grateful that this time people turned up in big numbers,” said Ronnie Gwebawaya, a co-organizer of the event.

Among other highlights were an array of interactive activities like bible quizzes and bible drills, modeling, comedy and drama acts.

The After School Gospel Turn Up concert was organised by The Power of Praise, a gospel show which airs on Royal TV and sponsored by Coca Cola.
