There was low activity on the local bourse with only a few shares changing hands, the Tuesday Rwanda Stock Exchange daily market report indicates. 

The bond market was active during yesterday’s trading session after days of inactivity. It recorded a total turnover of Rwf214,600 from 200,000 worth of bonds traded in one deal at Rwf107.3.

On the equity market segment, Bank of Kigali (BK) pushed 12,300 shares worth Rwf3.4 million in two deals. The lender closed at Rwf127, unchanged from Monday’s share price. 

The Crystal Telecom counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf175,000 from 2,500 shares traded in one deal at Rwf70.

Both Rwanda Share Index and the All Share Index were constant, 140.03 and 129.76 points, respectively. Meanwhile, the other counters were quiet. Bralirwa was at Rwf167, Equity Bank closed at Rwf334, NMG at Rwf1,200, while KCB closed at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets was at Rwf104.
