Editor,

RE: "France’s selective prosecution of Genocide fugitives is suspect” (The New Times, July 9).

Anyone paying attention will have noticed that France’s arrogant defiance towards Rwanda in efforts to bring to book Genocide suspects on its territory is based on a possible mutual agreement between the parties involved (France and the fugitives).

It appears that Paris has promised these genocidaires a safe haven in exchange for keeping their mouths shut, especially with regard to France’s role in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Plain and simple!
