There was low activity on the local bourse yesterday with only a few shares exchanging hands, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report indicates.

Bank of Kigali registered a total turnover of Rwf840,000 from 3,000 shares traded in one deal. The counter closed at Rwf280, unchanged from Rwf280 on Tuesday.

The Crystal Telecom counter was also stable at Rwf70 yesterday. The firm recorded a total turnover of Rwf21,000 from 300 shares traded in one deal, according to the RSE report.

Both RSE Rwanda Share Index and the All Share Index were unchanged to close at 142.43 and 130.06 points, respectively.  On the equities segment, Bralirwa closed at Rwf170, Equity Bank was at Rwf334, and NMG at Rwf1,200, while KCB was unchanged at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets at Rwf104 yesterday.
