Emerging afrobeat singer Elion Victory has released his latest single, No Body, which was produced by Bob Pro. The single is among the 16 songs that will appear on his fourth album dubbed, Choice.

The singer, who is also a member of the Neptunez band, believes the single will stamp his name on the local music scene, and the song comes at a time when he is basking in the success of his song, Only One. Elion says he wants to connect with his fans.

The Uko Wapi singer also spoke of his future plans, saying that he wants to brand himself as a businessman. "Because of the new developments, I now treat my music as a business that is supposed to yield profits. Other artistes should also follow suit and be professional in music because in the end we all need to get by. Many people can sing but because of poor management not everyone is making money out of it,” said Elion.

The 28-year-old singer came into the limelight in 2012 after the release of his song, Amafaranga. He has also written and featured in countless songs with several artistes in the country. Elion has three albums under his belt that include, Ijambo, Babwire, Apana Mimi, Fiesta, Fallin in Love, Dear Mama, Last Chance, and Only One, among others.

"I am doing most of the work for my upcoming album by myself; like creating beats, music arrangement and voice recording under our studio, Nep Records. I know some people do not know that I am a producer, but this is also part of what I do. The mastering part will be done by different people,” he said.

Elion’s Choice album will contain songs in both English and Swahili to attract the regional audience.
