REG Vs Equity Bank

Rwanda Energy Group (REG) women will be looking to build on their recent unstoppable form when they take on Kenyan Equity Bank in their third Group B game of the FIBA Africa Women Basketball League (AWBL) which is underway at Alexandria court on Wednesday night, December 13.

The game takes place in Egypt while If REG beat Equity Bank, they are most likely to advance to the quarter final.

REG are unbeaten in their past two opening gamesm, beating Cameroon’s Overdose 86-45 on Monday, December 11 before WNBA import Tiffany Mitchell and Destiny Promise Philoxy contributed a combined 56 points in club’s 96-89 victory over Angolan giants Inter Clube on Tuesday.

The Rwandan representatives are playing Equity Bank who have won once and lost another game and, while a ticket to the quarter final looks likely, club coach Esperance Mukaneza is only focused on winning every game in the competition.

"We are ready to give all we have. We want to finish unbeaten in Group B, and it is possible," she told Times Sport ahead of Equity Bank clash.
