Mozambique team expected tomorrow ahead of Amavubi clash

The Mozambique national team (Mambas) will arrive in Kigali on Thursday ahead of their AFCON qualifiers tie against Amavubi on Saturday.

The "Mambas” stayed overnight in Johannesburg, South Africa before the setting off to Kigali in the early hours of today.

The visitors have no chance of qualifying for the CAF National Africa Championship but their head coach Abel Xavier has warned that the goal is to win.

While in Kigali the Mozambique team will have three training sessions, and the last will be at Amahoro Stadium, which will host the game.

Mozambique comes to Kigali with one point from four matches.

Ghana tops the group with 10 points and they need a victory on Sunday against Mauritius to be sure of going to Gabon in 2017.

Rwanda and Mauritius are in the second and third position respectively with six points, three behind leaders Ghana.
