Four APR FC players have been suspended indefinitely over indiscipline.

The suspension of the players, including stars Jean Claude Iranzi and Emery Bayisenge, was confirmed by the Secretary General of the club, Adolphe ‘Camarade’ Kalisa, yesterday.

Other suspended players are Tumaine ‘Titi’ Ntamuhanga and Michel Ndahinduka.

"We have suspended them indefinitely. I will not go into the details but it is a case of indiscpline,” Kalisa told Times Sport before adding that the suspensions might be reviewed upwards or downwards.

However, a credible source within the club who spoke on condition of anonymity, told this paper that the disciplinary measure is linked to misconduct by the players after their league game against Espoir on Saturday.

The source said the players left camp without permission of the coach to meet one of the player’s parents in Rusizi.

One of the affected players told this paper on condition of anonymity that they don’t know the reason for their suspension. "It is unfortunate… we don’t know what we did to be suspended. We will just keep calm and see what will happen. We are mature enough and we did nothing wrong,” he said
