RE: "Rwanda to produce mosquito bed nets” (The New Times, May 24).

There are things we can always do by ourselves rather than importing. The Ministry of Health should try as many ways as possible to combat malaria. Rwanda has capacity to defeat the disease.Citizens must be educated on the importance of ensuring they stay in an environment that won’t provide a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
