RE: "Rwanda Cultural Fashion night impresses”(The New Times, May 16).

The Rwanda Cultural Fashion night, held recently at the Goethe Institute, was yet another feather in the country’s cap of recent achievements. Having guest designers from Tanzania and Kenya added much flavor to the event and made it all the more appealing.

Events, whether cultural, business or religious, all contribute substantially to tourism growth and, therefore, must all be given their due importance and marketed in an appropriate manner.

"Made in Rwanda” was so well portrayed at the recent Rwanda Cultural Fashion night. Taking advantage of a captive audience, like the City of Kigali witnessed during the World Economic Forum on Africa last week, will always be beneficial to promoting Brand Rwanda.

Africa designs have their own unique features and events like this help in showcasing Africa to the world.

May Remarkable Rwanda continuesucceeding in positioning as not only the MICE hub but also the events capital of the East African Community (EAC).
