Broadband Systems Corporation (BSC) Rwanda, on December 8 hosted a gala dinner to express appreciation to its diverse clientele and reaffirm its commitment to providing world-class broadband connectivity and solutions.

The gala, held at Hotel des Mille Collines, was the culmination of a two-month-long campaign that kicked off on October 2. The campaign featured a customer appreciation week, a product and press launch, customer visits, and a customer satisfaction survey.

The customers were recognised for engaging with various products and services offered by BSC Rwanda, including fiber wireless broadband, managed security services (Defenza), cloud computing hosting, co-location services, and 4G services.

Christian Muhirwa, the CEO of BSC Rwanda, thanked the customers for the partnerships developed over the 11 years of the company's existence.

He said it has been a learning journey with challenges and successes, emphasising BSC's growth and role in enabling businesses' digital journeys.

"Our investments are here to bring value to your businesses in your online activities. You're not just clients. You're our partners. We learn together. We grow together," he added.

Muhirwa highlighted specific services provided by BSC Rwanda, including security and managed network services, aimed at bringing clients online quickly and cost-effectively and shared plans to expand into various sectors, with a particular focus on the education sector, partnering with the Ministry of Education for an e-learning project in 1,500 schools.

He underscored BSC&039;s commitment to connecting businesses, investing in infrastructure, and providing services like e-health and collaboration tools.

He encouraged clients to join their journey, stating, "Our value proposition is that we are everywhere across the country."

Clever Mutabazi, who works in the IT department at I&M Bank Rwanda, a client of BSC Rwanda, highlighted the role played by BSC in delivering reliable internet connectivity to the bank’s different branches across the country.

"This connectivity is crucial for the branches to access the headquarters, enabling them to offer efficient services to their clients,” he said.

Mutabazi emphasized the significance of BSC's commitment to cyber security, citing the recent introduction of Defenza, a service designed to combat cyber breaches.

He said that BSC has a track record of delivering reliable services, and expressed confidence that the newly launched Defenza will further enhance their cyber security measures.

Mutabazi commended the speed and reliability of BSC's services, particularly noting the positive impact on I&M Bank’s digital services such as internet banking, mobile banking, and ATMs.
