Bugesera seek to end Rayon winning streak

Bugesera FC will be hoping to end the winning streak of Rayon Sports when the two sides face off today at the Kigali Regional Stadium.

The game was initially scheduled to be staged at Nyamata on Tuesday, but was moved to Wednesday following a request from Bugesera.

But Rayon Sports head coach Djuma Irambona Masudi said he will be looking to an unstoppable run during this game.

"We will keep the spirit and hopefully we will win the game to maintain our winning streak,” Masudi saidMasudi added that his side will not relax until the end of the season. Each game is a must win, according to Masudi.

However, his counterpart coach Ali Bizimungu of Bugesera, is also eying the three points and is ready for the challenge against Rayon Sports.

"I want to win this game although it’s not easy, but I believe that we can go into the game and win. We are facing a tricky team which is doing better, but we have set our target to win this game,” the former Rayon Sports coach added.

In other games today, Amagaju FC host AS Kigali in Nyamagabe, Etincelles FC take on Espoir FC in Rusizi, Police FC will be hosting bottom-placed AS Muhanga at Kicukiro Stadium while SC Kiyovu face a tough battle against Mukura VS at Mumena turf.

The Yves Rwasamanzi led side will be missing the midfield duo of Martin Twizeyimana and Jean d’Amour Uwimana while Mukura VS will be without Regis Shyaka.
