Manchester United have two crucial fixtures that will determine Louis van Gaal’s future at Carrington. First, a lunchtime duel today at relegation candidates Norwich City, who will go down with a loss. United are without suspended Fellaini and will hope to make amends for the 2-1 loss suffered to the Canneries when Alex Neil’s side visited Old Trafford. However, Norwich are fighting for survival and it will be a tough game. Home win.

SUNDERLAND 2-1 CHELSEA 4pmChelsea have accomplished their mission of handing Leicester City the title. Now they probably are going back to their timid football. If this happens, the Black Cats will smell fresh blood and pounce. Sunderland need to survive in a relegation battle that is turning brittle.

PALACE 1-2 STOKE 4pmFor all intent and purpose, Crystal Palace looked to have secured their place, but there is one elusive point to guarantee that. They will work had to get that point at home to visiting Potters, but any slip will make for an interesting relegation package on the final day of the season next weekend.

VILLA 1-2 NEWCASTLE 4pmThe ballast Rafael Benitez cast seems to have steadied the Newcastle ship. Win this and the Magpies will be brimming with confidence ahead of the season finale. Aston Villa are down and out but they still play for the good of the game and can hurt...

LEICESTER 2-2 EVERTOn 6.30pmChampions Leicester City will be crowned at the King Power Stadium today and it should be a magnficent blue scene. But before then, action. Defensive rock Robert Huth is suspended until next season, meaning that for the first time, the Foxes will have to revise their backline. This could play in Everton’s hands but the champions are boosted by the return of striker Jamie Vardy, whose energy upfield could trouble Everton

SUNDAYMAN CITY 2-2 ARSENAL 5pm

The battle for fourth place continues with a tough fixture Sunday when Arsenal visit City. A win will seal Champions League place for Arsenal and leave Manchester City in a precarious position as rivals Manchester United will look to cease the opportunity. Neither side have a room for error but I see City overcoming their midweek Champions League blues to bounce back with win.

CHAMPIONSHIP DECIDERBORO 2-0 BRIGHTON 4pm

Anything but defeat will guarantee Middlesbrough return into the Premier League. They have not lost in the last nine games but this a tough fixture where the winner takes all and nerves are bound to stiffen. Brighton are looking to emulate Swansea and Bournemouth, two sides who fast-tracked their promotion to top flight from the lower tier. The Seagulls last played in top flight in 1982-83 season. Aitor Karanka and Chris Hughton (pictured) have a nervy touchline moment.
