Rwandan striker Meddie Kagere is set for a possible return to Gor Mahia FC in the June transfer window, according to sources. Kagere is currently training with the Nairobi-based Kenyan Premier League champions.

The former Amavubi striker has been training with the team at their Camp Toyoyo and reports have surfaced that he could return to the club in June.  However, the club already has five foreigners, which is the Kenya Premier League cap for foreign players in any team.

Among these five are two other Rwandans; striker Jacques Tuyisenge, who joined the Kenyan champions earlier this year, and fullback Abouba Sibomana.

At the start of this year, Kagere trained with APR FC but failed to agree terms with both the military side and AS Kigali who also wanted to sign him.
