It is unfortunate that even the elite class can believe in rituals. Even some leaders in some countries have similar beliefs.

I remember one of the regional presidents who was about to pay a visit to another country but decided to send a presidential plane with two traditional witches in advance to assess the situation and determine whether the President can jet in. Well, they ‘assessed’ the hotel and the room, later giving green-light for his travel.   

Can you imagine how people will behave if their President behaves in such a way? Africa has a long way to go.
