Dear editor,
As a concerned parent, I would like to urge other parents to be conscious about the welfare of their children.

Now that the holidays are near, children are exposed to many dangers when roaming around aimlessly.

I advise that the little children be put under the care of the trusted and that parents seriously take up the responsibility of disciplining their children.

The already numerous scenes of teenagers on holiday smoking and drinking to the point where they are wasted, is filling every corner of the street.

This is a sign that parents care less about the welfare of their children.

If parents cannot take time to discipline their children, they should not be shocked when they present bad reports at the end of the term.

Good performance and discipline go hand in hand.

This is what every parent should know.
