Rwandans in Israel commemorate 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi

The Embassy of Rwanda in Israel was last week joined by Rwandans living and studying in Israel and friends of Rwanda to mark the 22nd Commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi.

The Embassy of Rwanda in Israel was last week joined by Rwandans living and studying in Israel and friends of Rwanda to mark the 22nd Commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi.

In his address, Amb. Col Joseph Rutabana informed the audience of the causes of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, and emphasised the fight against genocide ideology especially by the youth.

The event was marked by a poem by Emmanuel Ndateba, a student; testimonies and a documentary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
