Iradukunda, who plays for Ugandan Super League champions, Vipers’ junior team and Niyibizi, the Sunrise FC striker, are expected to boost the Junior Wasps’ striking force as Rwanda seeks to qualify to the next round, according to the coach.

"We need to be ready for the second leg. We have started intensive training, and I believe we will be on top of our game against Uganda,” Kayiranga said on Monday.

The duo joined camp on Sunday at La Palisse Hotel in Nyandungu and trained with the rest of the provisional squad on Monday at Amahoro stadium.

The first leg played at the Kigali Regional stadium two weeks ago, ended in a 1-all draw. Blaise Itangishaka scored for the home side before Edrisa Lubega equalised for visitors.
