RE: "Mukazayire’s story is testimony to Rwanda’s resilience” (The New Times, April 18).

I am always convinced demons had descended upon the people of Rwanda the day the Genocide against the Tutsi started.

I still can’t imagine someone in their right frame of mind killing innocent people merely for looking different than they are.

And neighbours who had never killed but driven by simply hate to do the most grotesque, horrific and barbaric acts to their own kind is unbelievable.

I hope my country grows to be a better country that leads the world by example of how strong we are and able to let our past go and move on to better tomorrow.

Let’s all say "Never Again” to genocide and its ideology—we are all sons and daughters of the same father.
