Women national league title hopefuls Kamonyi FC will host Les Lionnes today seeking to close the gap at the top of the league table, and keep pressure on leaders, AS Kigali.

The Southern Province-based side lost against their archrivals AS Kigali 1-0 before the break; however, according to head coach Emmanuel Habiyambere, his girls will go into today’s game to make amends.

"It is a very important game for us, we must win to keep pressure on AS Kigali as well as remain in title contention,” he said.

Elsewhere, Nyagatare FC, who have been given a last warning after missing games in a row will host Rambura at Nyagatare stadium while Gakenke travel to Rugende to play Golden Generation.

AS Kigali will have to wait until Monday when they travel to Kamabuye ground in Nyamata for their clash as league leaders Bugesera.

Bugesera leads the table with seven points, one ahead of second-placed AS Kigali, who have played a game less; Inyemera and Rambura are in third and fourth positions respectively with four points each.
