Residents of Kicukiro District participate in a Walk to Remember as part of this year’s Genocide commemoration activities. The walk started from the Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre (IPRC) Kigali, previously ETO Kicukiro, to Nyanza-Kicukiro Genocide memorial centre. Both relatives and government officials laid wreaths on mass graves in honor of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.  Many young Rwandans attended the event as a symbol of the young generations’ effort to fight genocide ideology and denial.
