Yesterday thousands of Rwandans attended healing prayers at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali organised by the Catholic Church, Regina Pacis Parish Remera.

The prayers were led by Father Ubald Rugirangoga who urged Genocide perpetrators to seek forgiveness and survivors to forgive their tormentors as part of healing process from the wounds of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Rugirangoga castigated clerics who participated in the Genocide for tainting the image of the church.
