Dance hall fans are in for an evening of rich urban dancehall sound as Ugandan Rabadaba real name Faisal Seguya performs for his fans this Friday evening at the Classic Club, at the Mirror Hotel in Kisementi.

Rabadaba, who is coming to Kigali for the third time, will be accompanied by DJ Bobby. Speaking to The New Times DJ Khadir Mohammed, who heads Ruff Cuts DJs, the organisers of the concert said the idea was conceived after the pair announced their plans to spend a holiday in the country.

"DJ Bobby and Rabadaba have been in the country before and they loved it. They are excited about returning and it was also our opportunity to give their fans a chance to see them perform again. It's going to be a really exciting show,” he said.

Once dubbed the "The Dancehall King" Rabadaba, 29 announced his presence on the Ugandan music scene in 2009 with the hit Bwe Kili which stood out for its clever word play and versatile beats that fuse urban dancehall with Hip Hop in Luganda and Patois.

He has collaborated with the dynamic duo of Radio and Weasel to sing the club banger ability that earned massive air play. He also did Love Portion with Don MC, and locally he did Intego with Urban Boyz.

In Rwanda, he had a successful performance at the 2010 Xmas Jungle Party in Rubavu.

The performance starts at 9 pm.
