J-Dub to release 'Memoirs of a Mad Rapper'

Today, rap fans in Kigali have something to look up to as, J-Dub “El Fazo”, real name, John R Nkera, will be launching his second mix tape titled, ‘Memoirs of a Mad Rapper.’ His first mix tape, ‘Dub Therapy’, was released in 2013.

Today, rap fans in Kigali have something to look up to as, J-Dub "El Fazo”, real name, John R Nkera, will be launching his second mix tape titled, ‘Memoirs of a Mad Rapper.’ His first mix tape, ‘Dub Therapy’, was released in 2013.

"The mix tape is going to be a journey through the golden era of hip hop (90’s to early 2000’s) as I will be reminiscing songs I grew up listening to and like up-to-date. I’ve prepared an engaging type of show for my fans so that they can get to know me more as an artiste,” said J-Dub.

All the thirteen songs from the new mix tape as well as old songs with his group 101 will be performed.101 is a music group that comprises of upcoming artistes like Don Nova (Muhire Allen), Dan Dreed (Dan Musangwa) and G-Free (Freddy Kan).

Other artistes set to perform are Angel Mutoni, Cheryl and Inkings. The show will take place at New Fiesta Restaurant, Remera, from 8pm and entrance is free.
