Rayon Sports football club head coach, Ivan Jacky Minnaert, has left the club, Times Sport can disclose. The Belgian coach had signed a one-year contract with Rayon Sports in November 2015.

Ivan Minnaert joined Rayon Sports from Djoliba AC of Mali replacing, David Donadei, who also had a short spell (two months) at the club.

"I am quitting because of professional reasons. It is over between me and Rayon Sports. I wish them all the best but for me I will not continue. The fans have been wonderful and I thank my players who really did a good job” he said in a press conference after Rayon Sports beat arch rivals SC Kiyovu 2-0 in the National Football League yesterday.

Rayon Sports goals were scored by player maker Pierrot Kwizera and striker Ismalia Diarra.
