INATEK starts volleyball league with win

Volleyball league defending champions Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of Kibungo (INATEK) started the defence of their title with a 3-0 win over debutants IPRC-South 3-0 on Saturday in Ngoma.

Volleyball league defending champions Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of Kibungo (INATEK) started the defence of their title with a 3-0 win over debutants IPRC-South 3-0 on Saturday in Ngoma.

Elsewhere, Lycee de Nyanza lost to Kigali Volleyball Club 0-3 while in the women category, defending champions Rwanda Revenue Authority defeated Lycee de Nyanza 3-0. Last year’s runners-up, APR won 3-0 over IPRC-Kigali, while Ruhango defeated St Alloys 3-0.

Meanwhile, two games, Rayon Sports vs Kirehe and Umubano Blue Tigers against APR, were both postponed to another date.

In the meantime, Rayon Sports have signed six players including; Anicet Sifakwamungu (Rusumo High School), Jimmy Rurangwa (no team), Claude Masezerano from Lycee de Nyanza, Mandela Gahire from Kirehe, Claude Usengimana (no team), Cyprian Uwimana from Uganda, Helve Kagimbura and Flavien Ndamukunda from APR.
