SC Kiyovu sign Niyibizi as assistant coach

Former Isonga FC assistant coach Souleyman Niyibizi has been confirmed as the new assistant coach of Kiyovu Sports club, taking over from Hamiss Bagumaho.

Former Isonga FC assistant coach Souleyman Niyibizi has been confirmed as the new assistant coach of Kiyovu Sports club, taking over from Hamiss Bagumaho.

This was revealed by head coach Yves Rwasamanzi on Wednesdayahead of Kiyovu’s national league clash with Rwamagana City, which they won 1-0 thanks to Abdul Karim Gashugi’s lone strike.

Niyibizi replaces former Kiyovu and Amavubi forward, Bagumaho, who was assistant coach since last season — he also worked as interim head coach for a couple of months.

Niyibizi will bring his vast experience to the club having worked as the assistant coach with several local clubs like Amagaju FC for three years, before taking on second division side Etoile de l’est as the assist coach, Intare FC as well as youth side Isonga FC.
