The 4th edition of the ‘Jazz Junction Party’ with performances from the Neptunez Band - a local urban Afro fusion outfit is on tomorrow at Serena Hotel Kigali.

The event will feature Ugandan Herbert Kiggundu aka Herbert Rock, the band’s lead saxophonist, and Chilean guitarist, Tito Al Uribe.

The band’s director Remmy Lubega told The New Times that the event is organized annually to give jazz lovers in the country, something to look forward to, adding that every edition is another experience.

"We want to take care of the jazz society here in Kigali. We have come up with several editions, and all are aimed at bringing jazz lovers together. The first season will end in May, but we still have a lot in store for entertainment lovers,” Lubega added.

Lubega said tomorrow’s show will feature special acts.

"This time, we are excited to present Tito Al Uribe, a jazz performer from Chile, with experience of over 40 years. He is our biggest highlight of the night, and we surely hope jazz and music lovers in general will be entertained,” he said.

The Jazz Junction Party will begin at 8pm and end at 10:30pm.  The previous edition took place at the People’s Night Club in Kacyiru.
