RE: "No cause for alarm; Rwandans have clarity of their democratisation process” (The New Times, January 21).

The referendum was done in our interest as Rwandans as opposed to the usual prescriptions from our "friends” in the West. Let’s remain consistent with what we want as we forge ahead in unity and transparency.

Long live Rwanda and the true emancipation of Rwandans to greatness they so deserve.
