DRC’s Nelson Munganga took just eight minutes to find the back of the net and their lead was doubled ten minutes later by Elia Meschak. Jonathan Bolingi Mpagi made it 3-0 seven minutes before the end of the first half.

After the break, Angola looked hungrier but they wasted a couple of chances before pulling one back in the 76thminute.

Ethiopia are now playing Cameroon, who are in second position with three points.

If Cameroon win this evening, both Ethiopia and Angola will be the first countries to be eliminated from the biennial tournament.
