Crystal Telecom recovered from Friday’s loss, gaining Rwf4 during yesterday’s trading session to close at Rwf99 compared to Friday’s close of Rwf95.

Crystal Telecom recovered from Friday’s loss, gaining Rwf4 during yesterday’s trading session to close at Rwf99 compared to Friday’s close of Rwf95.

The counter recorded a turnover of Rwf69,300 from 700 shares transacted in three deals. The appreciation of the firm pushed up the RSE Shared Index by 0.40 points to close at 146.89 points, while All Shared Index gained 0.05 points to close at 130.61 points yesterday.

Bank of Kigali registered a total turnover of Rwf336,000 from 1,200 shares traded in two deals.

The counter was unchanged compared to last Friday’s closing share price at Rwf280.

All the other counters were quiet; and Bralirwa counter closed at Rwf174, Equity Bank was at 334, NMG at Rwf1,200, and KCB and Uchumi was at Rwf330 and Rwf104, respectively.

At the end of normal trading hours, there were offers of 179,000 shares at between Rwf230 and Rwf300, and Bralirwa received outstanding offers of 612,500 shares at Rwf174 and a bid for Rwf23,000 shares at Rwf170 each.

The Crystal Telecom counter got offers of over 1.99 million shares at between Rwf99 and Rwf105, but investors were willing to buy 1,300 shares at Rwf95. The KCB counter had an outstanding offer of 9,700 shares at Rwf340.

The bond market received an outstanding offer of Rwf50 million worth bonds at Rwf101, but no bids were received.
