The Christian Dance Festival is an annual dance show which attracts a number of young and old people who are passionate about delivering the good message of the lord through their artistic talents.

The second edition dubbed ‘Christian Dance Festival 2016’ will take place on January 3, at the New Life Bible Church, Kicukiro.

Salsa dances were part of last year's edition.

According to Gael Karinamaryo, one of the organisers of the event, the main aim of the show is to prove to people that the good news of God can be delivered through entertainment.

"We want to bring together all the people, especially the young people, to the house of God; we want them to understand that it’s possible to speak the word of God through entertainment,”

"Many people don’t believe that it’s really possible, this is the time to give our contribution so that all people could be saved through Jesus’ name,” he noted.

Organized by United Dance Worshipers crew, the show is expected to be graced by various gospel dance crews, including The Blessing Family, Vivante Drama, Boanerges, ZDS Family, Shining Stars, The Soldiers of Christ, and Challenge Talents House, to name a few.

The show will also feature The Worshippers, The Messengers (comedy), Brenda Indekwe of Spoken Word, and Rabagirana worship band.

This year’s edition took place at the Christian Life Assembly church, and it was graced by a number of gospel lovers.

The show which will start at 4pm will be a blend of different dance styles, including creative dances, salsa, traditional, and flow motion, among others.

It’s free of charge.

Over eight gospel dance crews performed last year.
