2015 was surely Diana Teta’s year musically after the singer released a number of hits, got a few lucrative deals and wound up the year with a young achievers award.

The petite singer had promised to out the video of her latest hit Velo on January 1, 2016 and that she did, with the video already racking up many views on Youtube in a few hours.

Velo, a love song, rotates around couples who fall in love with a man after lying about his material possessions and money, the poor girl is lured, only to realize later that the man has none of what he claimed to have.

"I had promised my fans that I will release the video of Velo as a new year’s gift and that is what I have done,” says Teta.

The video shot by MeddySaleh feature’s Comedy Knight’s Michael Sengazi who is Teta’s presumed lover, promising her heaven on earth only to find out later that he cannot even afford to pay dowry.

According to Teta, the song is based on real life experiences where lovers pretend to be what they are not, in the end wasting time and resources trying to impress others, which is all lost in the end.

Teta also has vowed to do more in 2016 to grow her budding music career to another level.
