Members of the diaspora community visited the RSE yesterday morning to learn more about how they can invest on local capital market.

Last week, the diaspora were urged to take advantage of the huge opportunities presented by the RSE to invest some of their money to boost the local economy and save. Alice Kabagire Cyusa heads the Rwanda Diaspora Global Network (RDGN), the umbrella organisation of Rwandan communities abroad.

According to the National Bank of Rwanda statistics, the Rwandan diaspora remitted over $174 million (about Rwf133.98 billion) in 2014.
