The weekend is here again, are you sick of staying in or hanging out at the same spots? Looking for something fresh? We have a few suggestions;

Solidarity Concert

Gael Faye will be performing at Emmanuel Community Centre, near Independent Institute of Lay Adventists of Kigali (INILAK), Kicyukiro.

Children from the centre will also engage in contemporary dance, music, paintings, and theatre performances, starting at 4pm.

The show will also feature artistes like Eric One Key, DJ Eric Soul, Angel Mutoni, K-Rollz, Natasha Umuhoza, and Big Mike, among others.

Christmas Bazaar

The Christmas Bazaar is an annual event at EcoleBelge de Kigali. This weekend,another edition is lined up as the school celebratesits 50-year-anniversary.

Studentswill showcase their artistic talents, and revelers will enjoy special gourmet food like oysters, foiegras, smoked salmon and other Christmas specialties, all from Europe.

It is on today starting at 5pm.

The Ultimate Pool Party

This Saturday, DJ Africano, behind the ‘We Are One Summer Beach Party’will be featured by DJ Pyfo and DJ Toxxyk; they’ll be spinning discs and providing blends of music at Villa Portofino in Nyarutarama.

‘The Ultimate Pool Party’ will kickoff at 11am.

Night life

Put on your dancing shoes and check out some of Kigali’s hottest nightclubs; K-Club in Nyarutarama, People’s Club in Kacyiru, Le Must in Kiyovu, Deep Club in Remera, and Envy in Kimihurura are sure to give you a thrill.

For jazz lovers, it will be a funky night of live jazz, drinking, and dancing at White Horse (in town) opposite EcoleBelge as Makumbi Sound Live Jazz will be performing at the venue. Entrance is free and the show runs from 9pm to 12am.

Movies

This weekend, film lovers are in for a treat with Bridge of Spies.

If you haven’t watched it yet, the new James Bond movie, Spectre, is still showing this weekend at Century Cinema from 3:45pm to 6:30pm and 9:15pm.

Also showing is Victor Frankenstein, in which James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe give the legendary tale a dynamic and thrilling twist.
