Sec Academy FC will be seeking to hand highflying Etoile de l’ Est FC their first defeat this season when the two clash in the second division football league on Saturday at Kicukiro stadium.

Ngoma-based Etoile de l’ Est have bagged maximum 12 points after four rounds of matches, while Kicukiro-based club Sec Academy are in 7th position with four points.

Nevertheless, Sec Academy are determined to build on last weekend’s 2-1 win against Interforce to beat Etoile de l’ Est FC, according to head coach Marcel Kabayiza.

"We began the season not quite as well as we would have liked, but we are improving game by game, the win last week against Interforce, who were top of the table, will greatly boost our confidence for the rest of the season, we need to build a momentum,” said Kabayiza.

Second-placed Kirehe FC, with 10 points, will take on Miroplast FC, who are in fifth place on the table, at Mironko ground, while third-placed Interforce FC (nine points) host Heroes FC, who are in the 9th place with 3 points at FERWAFA ground.

Meanwhile, Group A leaders La Jeunesse, with 10 points, will take on bottom side Unity FC, who are yet to earn a point, at Runda stadium, while UR-Huye FC, in second position with eight points, face 8th-placed Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle at Tam Tam stadium in Rubavu.
