Editorial: Discover what’s around you

Today is a wonderful, bright day even though it could rain or drizzle I cannot really tell because I am not able to predict what will happen.

Today is a wonderful, bright day even though it could rain or drizzle I cannot really tell because I am not able to predict what will happen.

However, as we read today’s Children’s Times, we shall go on a discovery trip of a number of things that are around us.

Did you know that there are so many things around us that we don’t know exist?

Have you ever bothered to observe and see the things around you? You can even look at just the grass and you will see rare insects that you have never seen before.

Discovering what is around you does not mean you have to go to a zoo or game park to see new animals. Millions of different animals and insects are around us. It is up to us to find them out.

Also, don’t forget to discover new friends! Anyone can be your friend if you show them that you are a friend too. Remember the saying, "A friend in need is a friend indeed.” To find a friend, just keep a happy smiling face.
