Akazuba was nominated recently as Miss Earth, beating 11 other beauty pageants including Misses from different universities of the country.
The 8th Miss Earth beauty pageant will be held on November 9, 2008 at the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.
Over 90 delegates are expected to attend. 88 beauty contestants will tour different places in Bali, Indonesia, Guam and the Philippines.
We hear, the pageant will be broadcasted live in more than 90 countries via Star World.
On the final night of the competition, outgoing titleholder Miss Earth 2007, Jessica Nicole Trisko of Canada, will crown her successor.
