There is a need to regulate the hiring of foreign coaches so that clubs do not abuse their authority over them. Football clubs’ management is unknowingly putting our country’s reputation and the future of sports at stake.

These clubs do not understand that they are shooting themselves in the foot. They therefore need guidance. There has to be laws that stipulate how those coaches can be hired, suspended or fired.

You do not suspend a coach for a minor offence as a way of indirectly punishing him for a lost match or failure to win a cup. It is not only wrong and unfair but probably illegal too.
