Sunrise FC will be seeking to hand Mukura Victory Sports a second successive defeat when the two sides meet on Sunday at Muhanga stadium following 2-0 defeat against Rayon Sports the last time out, according to head coach Thierry Nzungu.

The league returns after a-two week international break with both sides tied on six points after four league games, each having won two and lost two, however; Mukura are a place higher (8th position) than Sunrise on goal difference.

"We must win this match to kick-start our season after a difficult start, and I believe the international break has given us some time to reflect and put things in order,” Nzungu told Sunday Sport.

He added that, "Our (3-2) win against Etincelles will also motivate us because we had lost the previous two games to AS Kigali (4-0) and Marines (1-0).”

Last season, both sides drew goalless in both the first and second round league encounters, but then newly promoted Sunrise went on to finish fourth while Mukura ended the season in 10th place.

The game will be Nzungu’s second in charge as a head coach after replacing Jimmy Mulisa, who was appointed FERWAFA’s assistant technical director and coach of Isonga FC.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Ali Bizimungu’s Bugesera FC host Amagaju FC at Nyamata ground, while struggling Etincelles, who are yet to register a win this season, entertain Emmanuel Ruremesha’s Gicumbi FC at Tam Tam stadium in Rubavu.
