After winning the league title for the first time in the club’s six year history, Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of Kibungo (INATEK) has turned focus on the Carré d’As tournament which will be played on the weekend of October 17-18.

The Carré d’As tournament is played on a round-robin among the top four clubs in the league—this year’s tourney will have INATEK, Rayon Sports, APR and Kirehe. Rwanda Revenue Authority, APR, Ruhango High School and St Alloys will compete in the women category.

INATEK finished on top of the table with 66 points, two better than Rayon Sports in second place.

"We will straight away embark on preparations for Carré d’As tournament because we want to win it also. It will be good to win two trophies in a single season,” said INATEK coach Dominic Sesonga Ntawangundi.

After winning the 2015 national league title, INATEK (men) and Rwanda Revenue Authority (women) will represent Rwanda at next year’s Africa Club Championships — the dates and venue are yet to be determined.
