Amavubi head coach Torsten Frank Spittler has left Mukura Victory Sports winger Iradukunda Elie Tatou and Kiyovu Sports striker Yves Mugunga out of his squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe at Huye on Wednesday November 15.

Both Iradukunda and Mugunga did not travel with the team that traveled to Huye on Monday morning to continue their preparations for the two crucial fixtures against Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Times Sport has learned that Iradukunda was was feeling unwell in the team's camp last week but it is remains unclear whether his exclusion from the squad is associated with the illness.

Aside the duo, Gefle IF midfielder Rafael York remains a key absentee in Torsten Frank Spittler’s squad as he continues recovery from his injury in Sweden.
