"This is our first EP and we feel like moving to another level because dropping an EP or album is more of showing ourselves to the world, sharing with our fans and music lovers our kind of inspiration through more than one song,” he said.

Irakora, commonly referred to as The Major disclosed that the ‘Love Over Pop’ extended play is an inspiration for the band to give people tool songs that speak and teach about love. "We need to express and help others to express love more than getting big numbers on platforms that is why we chose to name it ‘Love Over Pop’, " he added.

Symphony Band makes music out of true inspiration and our love for music not because of fame or going viral.

The EP comprises of eight songs including an intro ‘Came from love’, ‘Sawa’(amamara), ‘Ntutahe’ ft Social Mula, ‘Fine’, ‘Dey for love’, ‘So Bad’ ft Linda Montez, ‘Superstar’ and ‘ Long Night’ as a bonus track.

"Our journey has been great it’s been eight years together we had challenges and much experience and that’s what made us who we are today as symphony and we are still working hard to make the career grow more."

When they started they were known for gracing several concerts, notably Iwacu Music Festival, Kwita Izina, as well as backed many singers on stage. However they then began releasing their own music and collaborations with other artists .
