Fiacre Ntwari was the hero of the day once again as his penalty saving abilities helped TS Galaxy to book their place in the South African Telkom Cup last four.

Fiacre Ntwari will join the national team camp with so much confidence as his penalty shootout heroics inspired TS Galaxy to the South African Telkom Cup last four.

The shot stopper, who also had a hand in Galaxy’s win over Mamelodi Sundowns in October, saved two penalties against Sekhukhune United as his side converted four to win the day on a nerve wrecking encounter.

Elsewhere, Dylan Maes, Hakim Sahabo and Samuel Gueulette all had good games at their respective clubs in Slovenia and Belgium.

Yannick Mukunzi played full throttle for Sandviken IF while countryman Lague Byiringiro was introduced in the stoppage time as their side was held to a 1-1 draw with Stockholm Inter in the Ettan Norra League on Saturday.

In the Eliteserien, right-back Claus Babo Niyukuri played 85 minutes before making way for Oscar Krusnell as his club FK Haugesund lost 1-0 to Lillestrom.

Central defender Ange Mutsinzi saw another 90 minutes of action for FK Jerv in the second tier as they drew goalless with Asane on Sunday. Mutsinzi’s team has been struggling for results and remains in the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Clement Twizere Buhake was in the post for third tier side Strommen IF who thrashed Junkeren 3-0 thanks to Jakob Skille’s hat trick.

Josias King Furaha replaced Kristian Eriksen in the 71st minute as his side Flekkeroy held Card to a 1-1 draw at the Sparebank Stadium on Saturday.

Emmanuel Baru Gisa was not on the team sheet of Fram Larvik who drew 2-2 with Orn Horten.

South Africa

Goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari saved two penalties to propel TS Galaxy to the semifinals of the South African Telkom Cup after beating Sekhukhune United 4-2 in the penalty shootouts on Saturday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. The pair squared for a goalless draw after regular time.

Ukraine

Midfielder Djihad Bizimana is expected to feature for league leaders FC Kryvbas against Polissya on Monday afternoon before flying to Kigali to join the rest of Amavubi teammates who have started their preparations for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers against Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Belgium

Teenager Hakim Sahabo started and enjoyed 61 minutes of action for Standard Liege II who lost 2-1 at the hands of Francs Borains in the Challenger Pro League courtesy two own goals from Henry Lawrence and Ibe Hautekiet.

Samuel Gueulette saw 90 minutes of action for third tier League leaders Raal La Louviere who thrashed Dessel Sport 3-0.

Switzerland

Espoir Niyo Nsanzineza featured for FC Rapperswil-Jona who beat SC Cham 3-0.

France

In the Ligue 1, right-back Warren Kamanzi was an unused substitute for Toulouse who lost 2-1 to Le Havre on Sunday while centre back Brian Ngwabije replaced Jalil Mustaid in the 61st minute as his side FC Andrezieux beat Olympique D'Ales 2-1.

Netherlands

In the Eerste Divisie, Noam Emeran was an unused substitute for FC Gronningen who drew 2-2 with Dordrecht at the Euroborg Stadium on Sunday.

Slovenia

In the second tier, defender Dylan Georges Maes was excellent in the heart of defense for newly-promoted FK Tolmin who played a goalless draw with Fruzinar on Sunday.

Defensive midfielder Steve Rubanguka featured for Al Nojoom who drew 0-0 with Al Zulfi in the second tier.

Morocco

Left-back Emmanuel Imanishimwe was efficient for AS FAR Rabat and played full throttle in club’s 4-1 win over Youssoufia Berrechid on Saturday.

Tunisia

Bonheur Mugisha was in action for Tunisian Ligue 1 side AS Marsa who lost 3-0 to CS Sfaxien.

Kenya

Patrick Sibomana came in for Bryson Wagari in the 56th minute as Gor Mahia drew 0-0 with Police at the Moi International Sports Centre on Sunday. Emery Bayisenge was not in a action for the club as he remains sidelined through injury.
